Heavy menstruation?

Question:
after a cervical biopsy, which didnt rule out cervical cancer, i am suddenly experiencing heavy menstruation. I had biopsy late june, my period came in july normal.. this august, i have heavier period.. what could be the cause?

Answers:
yes i had a biopsy b4 and yes it does that somtimes it may do that for a little while it is normal
I would return to the doctor with your concerns. Also, ask them about the possibility of fibroid and if the biopsy could have aggravated it.
Rarely, uterine cancer, ovarian cancer and cervical cancer can cause excessive menstrual bleeding

Get your rest. Your doctor may recommend rest if bleeding is excessive and disruptive to your normal schedule or lifestyle.
Keep a record. Record the number of pads and tampons you use so that your doctor can determine the amount of bleeding. Change tampons regularly, at least every four to six hours.
Avoid aspirin. Because aspirin interferes with blood clotting, avoid it. Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others) often is more effective than aspirin in relieving menstrual discomforts.
