So I started taking Cerazette for the first time...?

Question:
on Sunday (when I started my period)...except I'm still on my period...i usually come off after two or three days and I'm still on!! Is that something to worry about or is it just effects of the pill?

Answers:
this happened with me i am normally only on for 3 days but i started Micronor, which is the same as Cerazette only with a 3 hr window for missed pills instead of 12hrs.

i started micronor on Sat when i started my period and it didn finish til Wed night so about 5 days. it's only the extra hormones in your system and will calm down after 3 months if that!

i was on micronor before but had to come off it for personal reasons and i found that my already light 3 day periods became heavier for the first 3 months and then were even lighter than before!

i also found the pain and cramps very severe from Sunday and only today the cramps have subsided even tho i finished my period on wed.

the first few weeks are always the worst cos your body is getting used to the pill you just gotta grin and bare it!
perfectly normal for the first month so I wouldn't worry yourself unless its really heavy.
they say its normal i have been on it now for a year and i only bleed for 2 days but it has made me put on so much weight
Your prescribing physician had an obligation to explain to you what to expect from a mini pill. Most women will experience erratic and irregular bleeding for about 3 months and occasionally as much as 6! This may initially be pretty constant. Good news if you persevere from 6 months onwards, increasing numbers of women loose their periods altogether. By a year this has reached about 70%. If I was female I think this would seem a good idea.
