You may want to speak to a pharmacist. ALOT of drugs have negative interactions when used in conjunction with other medications. I know for sure, that if you're taking antibiotics while on the BCP you should use another form of contraceptives until you are done with the antibiotics because they make the pill less effective. You can just call or stop by your local Walgreens/CVS and ask to speak with the pharmacist and they're usually more than willing to help you. Good luck.
Slimming Pills and diet pills are not medically recommended.
The main interactions to be concerned about are anti-biotics and anti- epileptic drugs both of which can reduce the contraceptive effect. of oral contraceptives
Slimming pills are such a wide non specific group-some contain active ingredients others herbs and placebos. They are not tested against contraceptives effectiveness.
It is best to assume that ANY drug you take has the potential to reduce the pills effectiveness-Therefore use additional contraception
