I use Yasmine which is made by the same company. I have used it for about 3 years now and it has been great no problems no missed periods no suprised periods and it just great all around did make me gain a bit of weight at first but lost it quick without even excercising. also if you dont have a doctor or health plan they can be really expencive 185 every three months but you can always got to planed perenthood
You have to get a prescription for it, so you'll have to see a doctor (added cost)..
Yea you do need a prescription but I pay 35 dollars a month for it and that's with insurance..you can probably get a similar pill without the name brand and it would be cheaper. Or try planned parenthood.
I'm using Yaz. I think mine is 30$ with prescription. I've only been on it for a month but so far I like it. It has helped with my PMS symptoms greatly, now I am just waiting to see what kind of period I end up with. On my old pill they were extremely painful and heavy. So far I haven't even gotten one yet on Yaz, but this is just the second night of not taking a pill.
I had some hormonal issues with it for the first few days that I switched, I felt more depressed and I almost wanted to stop taking but I waited to see if it evened out and it did. I also had some nausea problems the first few days. I think I did gain a little bit of water weight though.
I'm on Yaz strictly for PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder). Began taking it back in Oct of last year. For me it's been a Godsend, it really has alleviated the PMDD symptoms. For the first couple of months I did have some nausea and headaches, but they went away.
My Rx is $20/month.
