Well, if you are breastfeeding your cycle can take a long time to come back. Some women don't regain their periods for 8 months to a year while breastfeeding. If you are formula feeding, it can take a month or two, but could take a little longer. For me, I bled for 6 weeks after having my son until I went on birth control pills to stop it, and then I bled normally after that, but it was pill induced. I think without BF you may start to bleed again after 2-3 months.
six weeks
usually within 6 to 8 weeks. usually by your first doctor's appt.
depend female to female maybe 5 month
not that long
Depends on if you are breastfeeding or not. My daughter is over 5 months old and I still haven't had one, but it's because I am nursing. I am pretty sure if you don't nurse at all it will return soon after the bleeding from the delivery stops.
after giving birth you can have your period for longer than a week. some have it for a few weeks. all that lining in the uterus has to be shed. once that was over, i think mine went back to it's regular time frame. but, every woman's body is different in that some have different experiences after giving birth.
After having my baby, I bled for 3 weeks and it stopped. It took me a little over 1 month to get my first period.
well when you have a baby, you bleed for a while, dr told me up to 6 weeks. i bleed for 6weeks after my emergency c-section. after that i didn't havea period for 6 months, cause i was breastfeeding. some get one 4-6 weeks after they stop the inital bleeding from having a baby.
you have it for 6 weeks after you have a baby that's what the doctor will tell you.
