I got hit with those last month, and boy did they hurt! I tried everything too. The only thing that would give me a little bit of relief was to soak in a nice warm bath and massage my abdomen kind of like you do after giving birth. Actually my cramps weren't very far off from labor pains LOL.it sucked, and I hope next time won't be a repeat.
Birth control! Yea if all else fails try asking your doc to prescribe some birth control to you, that way it makes your time of the month alot more bearable.
I think the best thing for you would to be go to the Dr. You and your Dr. can talk about the amount of pain and how long it lasts, and then come up with a way to help you out. It sounds like you have tried all the methods most of us women have tried, so call your Dr. and talk to them. Good Luck.
i've heard birth control pills can help, but this a doctor issue because i don't know all your personal stuff that's key for treating. so go chat with your dr. and tell him to bring on the drugs!
I've had the same problem to the points where I've doubled over in pain and actually lost feeling in my upper thighs! The best remedy I've been told is to take B-complex for a week prior to your start date and NO CRAMPS! I couldn't believe it, not just the cramps but most of the other symptoms of PMS too, especially the MOODINESS and boy I'm all over the page in that department. I usually have to warn my family that I'm going to start so they can prepare for the worse! And its not like I don't try not to be mean. But try the B complex, what's it gonna hurt other than put you in a better mood because it's a mood stabilizer! I call it the Feel Good Vitamin!
I had cramps so bad that it made me sick to my stomach and too shaky to walk. Plenty of water all month long helps lessen clotting which causes more cramping. Start taking the Midol at least a day before cramps are going to start, track your symptoms and head it off, it works better if the drugs can prevent, instead of get rid of, your cramps. Ab targeting exercise all month kicked into high gear right before and during your period will lessen the work, (cramps), that your uterus has to do on its own. And definitely talk to your doctor. Bad cramps can just be bad cramps but they can also be signs of more serious problems. Certain hormonal birth controls can help but all of them have side effects so make sure you investigate thoroughly before jumping into that. Good luck.
