Tell me about long term birth control! i might be having my IUD removed..?

Question:
im having alot of problems with it, so i might have it removed tomorrow! what other long term birth control options are out there. no pills because i had my last baby on the pill, and im not giving up sex or using condoms because i dont like them, plus im not really sleeping with that many people. also, im extremely allergic to latex and the non latex condoms 1) dont protect that well, and 2)havent found any large enough for my boyfriend.. plus, i just hate using condoms!

I've had great success with the depo shot. Once every 3 months you can get it and you have a two week period before the shot is do to get your next one. You have to wait a week when you start it however all is well afterwards. Depending on how your body reacts you may not even have a period. My first couple months I had spotting on and off but now I have short periods 1 week prior to my due date. I've been on it for almost 3 years. If you decide to have a baby you just stop. it can take anywhere from 3mo or more to stop affecting you but you will be able to have one. :)
