My moms letting me shave but is upset about it!?
My mom says I can shave but she doesnt want me to. The only reason she said yes is beacuse I bugged&bugged her!

I would think it's a matter of how much hair you have, not what age you are.
I got my period late in the 5th grade (way before most of my friends) ... I used to skate at a rink with older (HS) kids and when I was in 6th grade the boys started making fun of the hair on my legs.
Luckily for me, my mom understood. Good luck and I agree with the poster who says your mom just doesn't want you to grow up. it's a normal "mom" thing.

you should only be shaving if you feel self concious about your legs. i didnt start shaving until about 15. remember once you shave your hairs will grow back courser (apparently. mine have stayed blonde!)
also, remember everybody's body hair types are different. some people naturally have thick black hairs and others, light blonde hairs. people with the darker hairs would probably have started shaving sooner.

You should be shaving when you have enough hair that it shows and makes you feel uncomfortable. I started shaving like around 12.

I was like 10 or 11. You should definatly start by middle school.
I had this friend in middle school whos mom wouldnt let her until she was 15. People made fun of her constantly.
My mom said 11 then changed it to12. she is just sad that you are growing up! when you shave though it comes out thicker and noticable! but talk to her and maybe make a agreement or deal among yourselfs about it maybe she should do it for you! I don't know but that may make her feel better
