This is a really really embarrassing question about a woman's period?
Sometimes when I have my period, I get a really bad rash from the pad I'm using. I prefer using the soft kind (like stay free) but the last one I bought was kotex, and the material is very rough and the friction created a rash. What can I do to cure the rash? Is there any sort of cream or something I can put down there?
always leak when using tampons...?
Answers:
There is a cream put out by Monistat that is for chaffing. It works really well on this kind of rash. This is quite common.
Are some of you women out there like this?
Diaper rash cream really helps. It may not be the friction that is causing a rash but more so the moisture from your pad.
You should be able to get an OTC cream such as zinc oxide or even diaper rash cream which contains the same ingredients. It works great in healing rashes and abrasions while keeping the area clean and dry from moisture.
Ladies please support me.(period grill!)?
I think you might need to see a doctor if it keeps coming back. Put I think you would want a girl doctor for sure.
What exactly PMT and PMS stands for?
just stop using the pads and keep the area clean and as dry as you can... the alergic reaction shoud go away on its own.
check to make sure your pads do not contain deoderants and perfumes that might cause the allergic reaction.
It is pretty normal to get a rash from pads.Make such to only wear cotton underwear when you are not on your period and you rash should go away. And take baths when you are on your period.Your rash should go away.If your rash does not go away you should see a doctor.
Try Destin diaper rash cream and use tampons instead of pads.
use tampons
been there done that just use diaper rash cream desinex or A and D ointment is beat try using always I've not had any problems with those
Why enjoy I be wanting to drink alot of milk lately?
SillyRabbit the best solution is to sit in a nice warm bath. Do this a couple of times, do not put any sort of bubble baths or soaps in the water. If this doesn't work and the rash seems to not go away, then go to your pharmacy and get "aveeno" put that into your bath water ,and sit there for around twenty minutes again in warm water. If none of these work go and see your physician. You have a allergic reaction to something in the kotex pads. "feel better". : )
what would cause a little spotting of blood after sex?
I thinks silly rabit must go sees the doctor Dont play with these things silly wuv ya b careful
Why does a Period last so long if all your body has to do is get one teeny tiny egg out?
Silly Rabbit it's those darn Kotex pads! I am getting over the worst urinary infection caused by those darn pads. Talk about itch OH MY GOD!.
I could not even sleep it was so bad and the smelly discharge was the worst I ever smelled.
I have been using Poise pad and also Carefree are excellent been using carefree for 24 yrs since i had my girl. Also cotton panties are better for breathablity. Hope this helps CJ
Can girls shave here pubic hair?.is it desperate for ur condition?
Have you thought about trying re-usable, washable pads, like gladrags? http://gladrags.com/
It takes a little getting used to, but it does cut down on waste in the environment, and the soft cotton flannel is MUCH nicer than the synthetic material which also makes me itch. If you're at all crafty, you can make 'em cheap.
