Is it always that when short guy marries short lady they will have short kids?
Question:
Answers:
No the tallest man in the world is obviously taller than his parents so look at it that way :)
most of the time it's true, but sometimes the recessive gene is let out of both people, and the kids can be tall.
no
No...
It depends on the genes, and if height runs in the family. If shortness does, then yes you may have some short kids and some tall kids. Its all all the genes they receive from the parents.
It just all depends on genetics...
If you have some one in your family who is tall like a mother or father, the child has a possiblility they will be tall too.
no but there are very good chances
Not always. Sometimes other relatives...tall aunts, uncles, grandparents height genes influence a child's height.
Nope and that's the long and the short of it!
Most of the time it really true. But sometimes its not.
You have to look at the family. For instance, all of my relatives are short - there's no tall gene in my family. But not everyone is like that. Say your grandfather was tall but you're not - you could still have a tall gene.
Not necessarily. DNA and genetics can overpower certain characteristics from generations before.
well...it depends
Aww damn I hope not lol. x
Most likely as you take your height from your parents
Not all the time, but most of the time chances are short guy and girl married will have short babies.some times the baby can take the Jens from both the side grand parents if they are normal then the chances are the kids will grow up to be at normal height.
Not always.
Proof:
My parents are relatively short: mom 5'5 and a half inches tall and father was 5'6".
My brother is 5'11" tall. He takes after my mom's father who was six feet tall.
Generally yes but I've seen the exception as well. I went to high school with a boy who's dad was 5'4", mom was 5'2", older brother was 5'6", and this boy was 6'1". I asked if he was adopted and he said, "no." Then I thought maybe his mom had an affair or something. But when I saw his parents I was shocked. This 6'1" tall boy looked EXACTLY like his mom and dad. Those two were definitely his birth parents.
So you never know.
no they can have tall kids and short kids
Part of height is genetic and part of height is nutritional. If 2 parents are short because they grew up in an area with malnutrition, they will be short even if they have tall genes. If they have a child who eats a very nutritional diet and is well fed, the kid will probably be tall. I have a lot of Latin friends whose parents are small because they grew up in another country without adequate nutrition. Their kids are huge though because they grew up eating an American diet.
