Have you tried Monistat's Soothing Care Itch Relief Cream Maximum Strength?

Question:
I just bought it and it did not come with any directions! If you have used it, please tell me how much I should use and where it is safe to put on.

Thanks a lot.

Answers:
You apply it externally only - not internally. The medication in this creme will not cure your infection ---it is designed and medicated to treat symptoms only such as redness, itching burning etc. . .

If you are having a yeast type discharge -(thick white to yellish with a mild odor) you can try treating over the counter with any type of Miconozole Cream. The generic form is fine and you can usually find it at a dollar store for $2-$3 vs. $15 a t the drugstore. Same medicine.

If the discharge has a very foul ordor and is more watery ---you may have a bacterial infection for which there is no over the counter treatment available.

DO NOT DOUCHE. This will cause a further disturbance of the "natural flora" and make things worse. Douching is actually never needed and marketed as a need but any OB/GYN will tell you ---dumb to do.

Hope this helped you out ---and hoping your female issues clear up soon!
its an anti fungal cream
