Im goint to procure a mirena IUD birth control. Is it dutiful?
Answers: I had the Mirena inserted in the order of 6 months ago. The insertion was a tiny bit discomfited but not unbearable. My period are very vastly light (almost non- existent). I be off and on the pill for lots years and it is nice not to have to remember to pinch those. As with anything, in that are risks, so talk to your Dr. Also, it be not cheap- 500.00 for mirena, 250.00 for insertion. ( but still cheaper than the pill)
All I'lll say is really research it. Have you have a previous pregnancy? If you haven't, you have a better prospect of your body rejecting it, and it'll be more painful when inserted. You may also hold a longer, harder recovery time. I'l relate you my story... I have have 2 kids, and my doc pushed the IUD, not giving much negative info. It made me chew over it was my best substitute. It was inserted (ouch!) when my babe was 6 weeks, and I started bleeding right away. My doc said that be normal, but it continued heavily for 4 months, until it be removed. A week after it was inserted, my husband said he could perceive it, the wires were jab him, making him bleed, so I went fund and had the wires trimmed. A few months then, I had sharp, jab pains in my tummy. I went to the ER, and after plentiful tests, they found the IUD have punctured my uterus. I had to move about to my doctors to have it removed, and it took her almost 20 minutes to find it ( I be dilated the whole time, it be horrible). I know my story is rare, and closely of people ar e intensely happy beside theirs, but no one told me they can run wrong. Good luck!
