Period problems?
Question:
Answers:
Nothing to worry about, that is normal.
I had discharge for at Least a year before I got my period.
Don't worry about starting later than your mom.
As long as you're healthy, and not in pain, you're just fine.
If anything starts to hurt, or smell very strong,
that's when you should be concerned.
But for now, you're just fine! =)
go talk to a gyno for more information...
My friend had her period late too. but if you dont have it by the time u turn 16, then u should go to the doctor
It shouldn't take long for you to get it
I definitely think that there is cause for concern. Tell your mother about what's been going on and ask her to help you pick out a gynecologist together. It may be nothing, or it may need to be looked at further. Good luck!!
Don't stress over it. When it happens, it happens. You should feel lucky! Every body is different and unique!
Some girls don't start their periods until they're 16-17, you might just be starting later. If you're concerned about this, go see a doctor or gyneacologist they will be able to examine you and answer all your questions.
I know someone who didn't get their first period till they were 17 and she's perfectly healthy, so I don't believe you really have anything to be concerned about. Every girls body is different and we all mature physically at different rates. If you're really concerned about it, maybe you should go see a doctor. They can answer any questions you have about the subject. Don't feel embarrassed..you're not the only one in the world who has these kinds of concerns and i'm sure other people have seen doctors for the same sort of problem. Good luck!
Should be coming soon... you get discharge a year before your first period.
You shouldn't worry about discharge because the discharge is just preparing you for your period. If it has been going on for a year then you shouldn't be worried but you should be expecting your period soon. If you don't get your period by the time your 16 then you should consult your physician or gynocologist.
i started mine at the age of
10.
and its perfectly normal.
but if you still dont have it after the age of 16 or 17,
talk to a doctor.
and the discharge is normal.
i started getting that at 9 years old.
If it's kinda thick... I think you might have yeast infection. I am not sure though... Also with your period I don't think it's a problem because everyone gets it at different times.
dont worry about it perfectly normal if you do get worried than see your doctor or even tlk too ur ma just dont let it scare ya ur bodies just moving a little slower than ur mom i mean maybe a aunt on ur dads side or ur grandma on ur dads side got theres later..
no you shouldnt worry i know someone thats 16 and hasnt yet it'll happen. you should be lucky you havent started yet
Don't worry! My school counselor said that it is normal to have your period late. She said that if you don't have it by the time your 18, you should see a gynocolegist. Everyone matures diferently.
Everyone is different - there is no "magic" age when it will occur.

You can always talk to your own GYN doctor if you are concerned that something may be wrong in your own individual situation.
Good Luck.
You are still young. There are some girls that don't start until they are 16 or 17. A lot depends on the diet that you eat. Kids that eat a lot of foods that are injected with hormones tend to start much younger. I know girls that have started at 9 years old because of all of the processed food that they eat. I wouldn't be too concerned about it. A slight discharge is normal. The only time you should be concerned is if it has a foul odor and/or if it itches. In that case you should really see a physician.
