Period problems - help.?

Question:
i saw brown blood - old blood - as they call it. which is a sign of the beginning of a period to me. i then had sex and then had a shower and saw the egg or clump of red stuff along with bright red blood wash away, thinking it was the egg i was certain i was to get my period quite soon. i hadnt had any pain which is what i normally get. i then proceeded to use tampons for the next two days, i wasnt getting cramps or losing alot of blood which is what is meant to happen. so i proceeded to use panty liners and now i am not losing any blood and havnt had my full period cycle or any type of cramping or lethargic feelings. this is quite strange. any advice. really worried.

Answers:
Some periods are just shorter than others. Clots are normal. They are not 'the egg', they are just clots or bits of womb lining. Cramping does not come with every period.

It is possible that you tore your cervix and 'the egg' is blood whichc built up whilst you were having sex-it may have mixed with other discharges to create a clump. You may still be waiting for your period. Either way, it doesn't sound like anything to worry about.
There's nothing to be worried about. Periods are like snowflakes: no two are ever the same.

Also, you can't see the egg, it's microscopic. What you saw was just congealed menstrual fluid.
make an emergency appointment with your GYN immediately. talk to them directly if u can. you don't know if you are or were pregnant, or may be having some sort of issue that may be goin on up in there. i hope things go well for you and thats its just a weird period. take care
The clump you noticed is a clot which is like a darker red that almost looks black and it is normal for some women to have clots during their period because of the lining that built up in the uterus getting shed each month.

The egg itself is much smaller than the size of the period at the end of this sentence, but yet big enough to allow for a pregnancy to occur.

But all of this can also occur as a result of breakthrough bleeding which can act like a period.

Sometimes breakthrough bleeding can occur because of infection. I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation.
in my knowledge you just had miscarriage.
nothing to worry about. this is common and natural, nothing abnormal from what you related.periods can vary greatly, from 1 day to 9 days. cycles keep on changing ,somtimes haphazards, it all depends on your stress level and external factors. what you saw was normal menses. just relax.
