Question:
well im 13 years old and when i have cramps when my period, sometimes i take advil or tynelnol well it really doesnt do anything for me it always comes back well i wanna take midol but is is it good for me?

Answers:
Yes midol works but i use Aleve and i take them when my cramps are really bad on that first day and i don't have anymore pain throughout the rest of my period
...It wouldn't be bad for you to take it...
it would be just fine. just read the directions... taking too much can make you sick. also some people get sick from it so if you do drink a lot, a lot, a lot of water. good luck. hope everything goes well. :]
You are old enough to have a period, you are old enough to take period meds.Midol is a blessing!! lol
Since you're over 12, if you follow the label dosing instructions, it will be fine (as long as you don't have an allergy to any of the ingredients).

Try this: Midol Maximum Strength Cramps & Body Aches Pain Reliver

You can find it at Walgreens (and probably other stores as well).
Midol is fine. Ibprofen such as Motrin and Advil are better for menstrual cramps though as they contain NSAIDs which are compounds that act on the prostaglandins that produce the cramps. Okay that's probably more science speak than you wanted to hear but NSAIDs are better for these problems. You may also want to try naproxen sodium (Aleve). Aleve is good for when you are in school and you can't be taking medicine every 4 hours. Aleve lasts for up to 12 hours. I prefer Aleve when I cannot keep taking meds and ibprofen when I am at home. Good luck.
yea i believe they have one for teens
