got stepped on?

Question: my friend dominated my finger. she stepped on it by accident and at first i felf a general rush of delusion go through my spine. it is now black in the nail [art. its been there for a month. will it go away in time?

you will probably lose the nail and a new one will grow back in it's place... usually takes a year to a year and a half... same thing happened to my big toe.. took me 1.5 years to be completely back to normal

It's dried blood unter the nail. You should have relieved the pressure immediately by putting a small hole in the nail. You can do this with a red hot needle, or take a small drill bit and roll it between your finger, slowly until you are through the nail. (Nota bene: I've seen someone drill through their finger using a power drill).

There's probably not anything you can do for it now, since it has been a month. It will grow out...eventually, but could take between six months and a year.
