ok..what are the symptoms? is it fatal as in deadly? like aids? my friend is depressed cause hse thinks she has it and told me its like aids that it will kill her...is it true? thnak u!

Um, NO, it will NOT kill you. It is a VIRUS. Ever had a cold sore on your lip? It's like that but on your genitals. *OUCH!* There is NO cure but plenty of medication to slow symptoms and outbreaks.
