Smoking affects your Blood pressure which can affect yoru recuperation. As well have other affects such as affect how much you bleed during surgery.
But in actuallity ask your doc or surgeon is the best answer.
Again it woul dbe better to know what kind of surgery. something major, then no smoking. minor might be ok. but doubtful.
