what should i do if someone has a seizure?

when someone is having a seizure all you can do is protect them from hurtingthemself by moving anything that is around them that they could hit. Keep an eye on them during the seizure and if they are in the seizure for awhile like more than 3 mintues you need to call 911. Also if they come out of the seizure and go right back into annother seizure you need to call 911. You will want to have the person go to the doctor to see why they are having seizurs asap aswell. watching someone have a seizure is very scarey you are going to want to do move than you can to help the person but you can get seriously hurt yourself or even hurt them more if you do move then you should so be careful. You might want to also talk to someone after it happens for yourself because like I said it is going to freak you out. I know the first time that I watched someone have a seizure it freaked me out.

most important1)lay the patient down..or if he has droppen down, please move him or her to the centre of the room. make sure he is not near any furniture that can harm m\him.
2)hold the patient and turn him on to the side. never let him sleep striaght...he will aspirate all his saliva into the lungs.
3)DONOT SHOVE anything into the mouth...there will be bleeding because of tongue bite, but the bite has occurred with the start of the seizure and hence u cannot prevent it.
