when do you know that you need anxiety medication?

Question:
what are the symptoms?

Answers:
If you have to ask you probably don't need it. That being said, however, see the web site I attached. If you worry a lot and feel anxious all the time you may be a candidate. What you should try to do is find the source of the anxiety and eliminate it.

If you're asking this, then you probably should go to a doctor.
When your symptoms are ruining your daily life. My advise is don't take them unless you absolutely need them. Try other remidies first. I makes me sick to see how many people run out to get pills the second anything goes wrong with them. They sneeze and run to get cold meds..they feel a bit anxious then they run for the prozac. Our bodies were not meant to take all these pills.

When your anxiety is so bad that no matter what you do or say or try to change your situations, your anxiety levels get worse and depression gets worse.

Therapy and medications are the key to learn to live and or eliminate the anxiety in your life.

Good luck to you and I hope you soon feel better!
if anxiety is making you unable to have a normal quality of life and interfering with your pleasures and duties, making you unable to complete either, then yes. symtoms include shortness of breath, dizziness, chest pains, racing heart, sweating excessively, butterflies in the stomach, restlessness, excessive worrying, insomnia, tremors, nausea sometimes, loss of appetite, or over eating.
If it keeps you up at night and you cant keep a normal sleep pattern, you might need to look into it. If you can't sit down with freinds and get your mind off what's bothering you, that might be a warning sign.
When you panic over things is the answeer.. But a smart person would let a doctor tell them.. Were not doctors out here. Boy I'm going to come back and read the answeers you get, bet you get some real duzzys. LOL ROB
