You cant make it go away. It has to run its course its a virus

Other Answers:
Sleep, sleep and more sleep. Theraflu is pretty good OTC stuff too!
Natural vitamin C, it can be food in huge doses in a good old fashioned grapefruit.
good luck its a virus 7 to 14 days to be rid of it. (there are some new drugs that are supposed to help but you got to see the doctor) Rest, plenty of fluids.
eat a really really hot curry. Put the heating on full wack, throw on loads of clothes and get into bed with a big bottle of water sweet the bast%^d out of you its the best way believe me, it works
there is a product called 'zicam' it is a natural/herbal product that comes in nasal spray, throat spray, tablets, etc. and it works. its a combination of zinc and other minerals and herbs which help to lessen a cold/flu....just make sure you have something like crackers on your stomach as zinc can upset it. usually it reduces the cold/flu by at least 3 days. echineacea another herb commonly refered to as natures antibiotic in conjunction with zicam is good too. hope you feel better soon...summer colds/flus are the worst
My favorite method: Get a bottle of Nyquil, a bottle of orange juice and a small bottle of vodka. Drink half the Nyquil then make screwdrivers. Drink until I pass out. When I wake up two days later, I am usually almost better. Just have a headache to deal with :)
Your nose is clogged? Maybe it a cold/flu combo? Try taking a nice shower or bath; drink something that will replace the electrolytes in your system; I had a really bad upper respiratory infection and they gave me these 6 "horse pills" (That's how large they were, can't remember the name of the medicine), but you take 2 the 1st day, then 1 for the next 4 days! Whatever it was, worked wonders!
