Are there any test to find out if your stomach muscles are torn?

Question:
2 years ago I had a tummy tuck. Up to now I felt no pain but lately I have been feeling a lot of tenderness in different spots in my stomach along with sensations of like something is tearing apart. I will admit i have gain 15 pounds due to medications for depression. Will a CT Scan or MRI show if my muscle tissues are ripping apart? If so which one is better? I'm scared, I swear this has me paranoid.

And in case you want to scrutanize me for not excersing I do work out. Unfortunately after having children your stomach doesnt go back to being the way it used to be. and the reason i'm on depression medication is BECAUSE MY SISTER, MY GRANDMOTHER AND MY GRANDFATHER PASSED AWAY WITHIN WEEKS OF EACH OTHER. So please no rude answers since that is not what I am looking for

Answers:
Sorry for your family problems, and they may even have something to do with your stomach. Stress can show itself in many different ways, and the abdominal pain may be a reflection of stress.
There could be other physical causes, however. If you had a tummy tuck, you could be feeling adhesions. That's what happens when things grow together, that shouldn't, and when the muscles involved pull against each other, they literally rip away tissues that have grown together.
Not sure if a scan of any kind would show that or not, but certainly mention to your doctor and find out.
Sometimes there can be problems with internal scars and you just might be a candidate for that.
Do check it out, if only for your own peace of mind -- but you really shouldn't be feeling pain when there's no apparent reason.
Good luck!
i think an x-ray will tell you if the muscles are torn why not ask the doctor.
