you use an alcohol pad to cleanse the port, inject the port with a 5 cc syringe and aspirate urine, then pull out the syringe and squirt the urine into a sterile urine cup.viola!
prior to doing this you are to kink the tubing with a rubber band or such so urine can collect, but for about 30 min only or the urine could back up into bladder.
