Never heard of anyone sniffing it - I understand that the smell is unpleasant - but its great in taming eczema!!
Why on Earth would you want to sniff it? I've never heard of it being addicting. they use it in all sorts of beauty products, etc. Tea tree oil is very safe to sniff and I have never heard of it being addictive.
It's probably the alcohol content that makes you high.
