Girlfriend tiptoeing barefoot at home?

Question:
A few months ago, my girlfriend began walking on her tiptoes when she's barefoot at home. She now walks like this ALL the time.

Is this all right?

She's 18 and has been wearing high heels for 4 years, regularly for 2 years. As far as I'm aware, there are no serious problems with her feet. She does have foot cramps but only occasionally - once every week or two. And I asked her about the tiptoeing and she just said "it's the most comfortable way to walk".

Okay, on the positive side, it looks cute =p. And it probably doesn't hurt because she's already got calluses from wearing high heels.

Answers:
She could be getting a condition known as ankle equinus...
It's where the leg muscles adjust to the high heel position making it painful when trying to walk flat footed. In some cases It is a permanent condition, never allowing the girl to wear anything but high heels again. I know cos it happened to me.
I must say this is one of the strangest questions ive read but yeah shes fine. LOL
