My 3 year old son is having horrible leg cramps at night.?

I have read that extra calcium can help reduce the cramps. But I have increased his intake and he is still getting them. I am very concerned, are they just growing pains or should I call his pediatrician?

Are you deaf?

I was told that If I ate june bugs I would get high. Is the face swelling normal?

Hurry and take him to the doctor!

help?

It's a bit early in his life, but rapid growth can often cause a syndrome known as Osgood Schlatter's. Causes terrific pain in the legs.
Cramping can also be because of an electrolyte imbalance, I would be giving him Pedialyte (found in any grocery) every night.
Yeah, a trip to the doctor might be a good idea, if the Pedialyte doesn't help.

I found a Pill on the floor in the bathroom, and I was wondering what it is?

Have him eat bananas (the potassium will help) and do leg stretches before bed.

Im in the 12th grade and i want to become a Pediatrician but i dont know what major i should major in. Do u?

When I was 8 years old, i remember waking up with a severe pain in my right leg. it was so severe that it hurt to even walk on it. My mom gave me a banana and after about an hour the pain started to diminish. i would, just in case, call his pediatrician just to make sure it isn't anything more serious. Sometimes a lack of potassium in one's diet can cause a person have leg cramps when laying down at night.

anyone.HELP!?

Growing pains give him some ibuprofen before he goes to bed and may be buy some bananas they are high in potassium this may help or make a shake and add the bananas in his drink. Leg cramps are cause by the bones growing at quick rate. This should only last about a week or so then they will go away.

Why is it that so recently people are becoming so obese?

sounds as though your 3 yr old is dehydrated make him/her drink lots of water.when you get dehydrated your pottasium level gets low and this causes leg cramps
