Can I get A.I.D.S. from a drink?

Question:
I know normally you can't get A.I.D.S. from sharing a drink, but what if the person has braces, which often cause abrasions and cuts in the mouth. Is there a possibility that it could be transferred that way? Also what STDS, if not A.I.D.S. can be transfered by drinks?

Answers:
Look, there are always very very miniscule quantities of HIV in saliva. So if you share a drink, then you probably shared in that too. But - the quantities are so small that they do not affect your immune system in any way!

On another point, AIDS is a complication of the HIV virus, so you can't immediately get AIDS without first getting the HIV virus

On another point, please please please talk to your doctor or a health professional!
