What happens at a 12 year old checkup the person with the best answer gets 10 points.?

Question:

Answers:
It's a chance for the doctor to see that you're growing and developing normally. It's also a chance for your parents to talk with the doctor about any issues, such as safety or nutrition, so they can help you stay healthy. And it gives you a chance to ask any questions you might have about your health. You might wonder when you will grow taller, for instance, or if you weigh the right amount.

The nurse might start by checking your weight and height, temperature, blood pressure and maybe collect a urine sample.

The doctor will come in and say hello. He or she will probably ask you some questions, like how you're doing and if you have any problems or concerns. The doctor wants to make sure your body is working just like it should. To do this, he or she will use equipment, such as a stethoscope (to listen to your lungs and heart), an otoscope (to look inside your ears, nose, and throat), and an ophthalmoscope (to look inside your eyes).

Your doctor might check the reflexes in your knee with a rubber hammer. He or she also will probably feel around your belly, and examine your genitalia if necessary.(they'll be others there so don't feel uncomfortable), also examine your spine.

Don't worry, it's just a check-up to make sure that all is well with you.

thats very individual to the doctor and what the reasoning is , like for sports in school? he will look in your throat, ears, eyes, he will probe your belly for hernias, he will take blood and urine for tests. listen to your heart and lungs, weigh you.etc
you get a but* plug

The doctor will check you height and weight, probably your blood pressure, and of course, ask for a urine sample. I don't remember what vaccinations may be needed at age 12 but that depends on what the school system requires in your town and state.

We'll call the 12yr old Lori, and right before the doctor comes in, the nurse is taking all the Bp, Temp etc.. She leaves the room and Lori decides to snoop into one of the cabinets. There are Cotton balls and tongue depressors etc.. So she reaches for a box and knocks over some Alkaselters into a open bottle of some kind of liquid. Panic sets in and she hears the door nob turn and crams the bottle into the cabinet, as it's over flowing. The doctor sits down and starts to look into her right ear, when a very strong fizzing sound and Oder is now pouring down the wall and onto the counter. the nurse inters the room and asks the doctor if he has seen Mr. Jackson's urine sample on the counter anywhere.? Well the rest in History you could say, thanks for sharing!!!!
