I got stung by a bee?
Yesterday afternoon I got stung by a bee and it just turned red ad swelled a little like usual. But this morning there was a big red mark around it and on the patch of skin where the bee stung it is now a rash looking mark. It almost looks like a hickey or a bruise.Is that normal?

Hmmm. You may be having a minor allergic reaction. Considering that this rash occured a little after you were stung, I suggest that you go to your doctor and make sure everything is fine before it gets worse. If you ever have been stung by a bee you would know what the normal outcome would be and if you happen to be allergic, but there are other factors that may be contributing to the swelling, redness, and "bruise" that you describe. If you don't want to go in to get a check-up, than just call and describe your symptoms. Good luck!

You probably have the stinger in it yet. I would suggest you go to the dr. If I could look at it I might suggest ichthammol 10% and some benadryl, but since I can't see it, well, I don't know how bad it is.
When I was a kid, we used to get stingers out by putting mud on it, or baking soda and water goop. It would draw out the stinger.
