Artificial Sweeteners?

What do you feel is the healthiest artificial sweetener? i've had sweet and low for quite some time now, but i've heard it can cause bladder cancer later in life. then i thought that i had read somewhere that sulcrose hadn't been proven to cause anything later in life but now i've read that it can, so im not sure. anyone have any more information about the healthiest artifical sweetener?

i don't think any artificial sweetner has been around long enough to find out really what kind of effect it has on people. It causes bladder cancer in rats, but what is it really doing to us? But still I guess that doesn't stop anybody. i drink so much diet coke and use sugar twin in my coffee everyday. Artificial sweetners are everywhere though. in gum, everything.

What should I do for bloating/gas?

I prefer to use splenda as a sweetner. I remember hearing that Nutra-Sweet can cause a variety of problems, while Splenda now seems to be all the rage.
