This question would be best answered by your doctor. But while w are here you can try this. And there is no Co payment.

Take a walk outside everyday for at lease 10 minutes or as much as you can. listen to some spiritual or praise Music every day. Great for those walks. Check your posture while you walk.. Head high and looking around. Breathe in the fresh air & sunshine. Tell yourself how good it feels. Or 10 min 3X a day.

Try to get enough sleep at night. Speaking of which It's is past my bedtime. Good Night ;-)

I personally was on Zoloft 200mg a day. I was on this for a few years. I fortunately did not get any noticable side effects. If you feel that your medication is not working for you, discuss it with your doctor. There may be another drug that is right for you.
That's a subject that's highly personal and better aimed at an MD than an internet answer site.
Good point talk to an MD but. if its mild depression try exercise and St Johns wt .. no side effects and its easy to stay in shape ;)
This cannot be determined by some people on a site. Only a doctor can determine what medication may work most effectively.
Personally, i take prozac weekly 90mg a week, and prozac 40mg daily. ive tried Effexor, it gave me crazy sweating problems. but this only occurs in some people. All meds have different effects.
