what is the healthy colour for fingernails?

Question:
my fingernails are whitish and i heard that this is a sign of unhealthiness. Is this a deficiency of something?
What should I do or eat to cure them into the supposedly healthy colour, pinkish?

Answers:
the whiteness is probably from lack of oxygen getting to the fingers, if i were you i might have a health professional do an oxygen read on you finger tip (it's a two inch clip that goes on your finger as if you were clipping papers onto a refrigerator magnet... takes 2 seconds) it could also be form anemia... eat more iron (not too much though cause that's lethal) or it could be a general lack of minerals... take loaded vits that have the minerals in the same tablet
the nail extending from your finger will be whitish, but on your finger you should see the pink of your nail bed through the nail. if you dont you must be terribly anemic.
