What would the value of my lawsuit be?
I had to have torn meniscus cartilage removed and acl reconstruction due to an injury at work. I was doing a two person job. I told my supervisor that I needed help but he kept blowing off by saying just do the best you can. I have co-workers that can attest for this. What is my lawsuit worth?
can you test positive just by smelling weed that is smoked 20ft away?

Depending on what state you live in, they have a set disability rate for each injury. You will have to have a disability rating done by your treating doctor, or one your doctor refers you to. After this is done the insurance company should offer you a settlement. If you don't like what they offer you then you will have to take them to court.
Attorneys who do workers comp cases generally do a free initial consultation. It would be a good idea for you to go ahead and see an attorney to get a better idea of what the laws are in your state..

You need a Workman's Comp lawyer. Your job should pay for your injury regardless of whether you should have had help or not. Chances are if your company was negligent, you could get a lifetime award which means anytime you have to have any surgery done on your knee or miss work because of this injury for the rest of your life, your company will have to pay--even if you no longer work there.
I broke my ankle really badly 12 years ago. I am getting ready to have the ankle replaced and even though I haven't worked at this company in 11 years--they have to pay for the replacement because the company was negligent and I received a lifetime award.
Contact a lawyer. If they think you have a case they will take it.
