I don't know what is wrong..?

Question:
okay..

Today, a weight fell on the top of my foot.it was on its side and it fell over..(it was a 10 lbs weight)..it kind of hurt but it wasn't that bad..

About 6 hours later.it swelled up really bad and hurt really bad..'

I can kind of walk on it but not really.

It isn't broken because i can move my toes..

What do u think is wrong? Did i bruse my bone?

What should i do to help it get better faster??

thx

Answers:
First of all, a broken bone would not necessarily keep you from moving your toes.

The fact that it didn't really start hurting till several hours later makes it more likely that it was just a bad bruise, which got more painful because you stayed on your feet and allowed the injury to swell up a lot over the next several hours.

The best thing would have been to elevate the foot, put a cold pack on it, and use an Ace wrap, and stay off the foot as much as possible. You should still do that, and see a doctor if it gets worse or doesn't start getting better in a day or so.

Who's told you you can't wiggle your toes if you've broken you're foot? Of course you can.
My expert opinion, although I'm not a bone specialist, is I think what's wrong is you haven't seen a doctor.

Go to the ER and get x-rays. That's the only way to find out what's wrong. doctor

you could of torn or sprained a ligament in your foot. ice it.

just because you can move your toes doesn't mean it isn't broken.

try resting it, icing it, and elevating your foot. to relieve pain take an over the counter pain killer. Put Ice on it man, Ice is ur best friend in this case. hope U'll feel better soon.
