I tried contacts, and for me they didn't work - but I think you should try them out; many people love them. I wear glasses and I have fun with them. I change them every so often, and although I will have to get Lasix eventually I am not planning on getting rid of my glasses. I used to hate them, but now I love them. The trick is, get frames that fit your facial structures.
As for Lasix, it depends who you are talking to about it. All my friends are happy with it - the only thing is that the long term consequences remain to be determined.

Not sure about the laser eye treatment. There is a great range of glasses out there now and make some people look really sexy. If your dead against glasses then go for the contacts before your eyes get worse.

Contacts would appear to be your only option.

I wear both contacts and glasses (not at the same time obviously!) depending on my mood in the morning.

I like my glasses as they are quite stylish. Maybe you just haven't found a pair that really suit you? Any of the assistants in the opticians would be happy to advise you as what style of glasses would suit your features :o)

I cured my short-sightedness with exercises. A lot of people's problems are not actually 'the shape of the eyeball' or anything physical. Look for a behavioural optometrist in the phone book.

honestly i dont know if laser treatment carries big risks.i guess an eye specialist should know better.however i would like to advice you.most people who use glasses dont like them but they have to wear them because of the serious complications that follow as a result of refusing to wear them.the eye is a very sensitive and delicate organ of the body and as such,taking proper care of it especially when it comes to taking prescribed and adequate treatment should not be compromised for any reason.OUR EYES HAVE NO DUPLICATE.

I was the same, but there are some cool pairs of glasses out there, honestly. A friend of mine works in an opticians and he helped me chose a pair that suited me. Don't wear them all the time, but they make a huge difference!

I was going to go for contacts but they are fairly expensive and take a while to get used to. I would try and find a pair of glasses that suit you first off. I also got some health insurance that gave me quite a bit of cash back. This helped to take the sting out of buying them.

Not sure about laser eye treatment, ask your GP in the first instance

I really don't know that much about either contacts or the risks of surgery but I do know that payment plans are available for laser eye surgery. My supervisor's husband did it that way.
