I think i hear my blood pumping in my ear .?

Question:
I have this occasional recurring sound in my left ear. it's like a dull whoog-whoog sound. Been having it for a few months now. If i turn my head to the right, or if I press lightly on my left neck vein, it goes away for a while.
I'm 25 years old, it doesn't seem to affect my balance or my thinking. I'm fairly active, doing some excercise. scares me a bit though.
I know i need to see a doctor soon, but i hope some of you can help me before i face something that could be worse than i think.

Thanks.

Answers:
it might possibly be a blood clot in the jugular vein. maybe

Other Answers:
It is otitis, however visit a doctor.

that's been happening to me all my life, it's nothing to worry about, just your heart working is all, maybe you just never noticed it before.
