Today I got water in my ear in the shower. Now I have alot of pain behind my ear and a soft bump in that area.

Question:
WIll this go away on its own, or do I need to do something about it? If so, what can I do?

Answers:
Mix rubbing alcohol and peroxide together, then take eye dropper and drop it into the ear canal. Peroxide will stop any infection, and alcohol will dry it up. That's what they put into those really expensive bottles of "Swimmer's Ear" remedies. Read the label.

Other Answers:
Best to see a MD the two may not be associated. If pain persists I would call tomorrow. Good Luck:-)

you might have swimers ear. its when water get behind yer eardrum and it wont clear on its own. you need a docter to give you medication. i got the same thing. You should see a doctor, just to be on the safe side.

Oh do jumprope<<<INDIAN WAY

it will go away

if not.and infestion.may see doctor

I got and ear infection, and a little hard lump under my ear in the soft bit of my neck, I got it through swimming in the sea in Turkey.
Go to the Doctors and get some antibiotics, as it will only get worse, trust me! go see the doctor. i had the exact same thing. I had a lump, not caused by water in my ear, but similar. The doctor performed surgery while i was sleeping so it didn't hurt. in your case, it might not be that serious to have a surgery, but you never know. Good Luck!
