advice to deal with ciggarette cravings?

this is my 3rd try to give up smoking... i am on the nicorette chewing gum and they are great to take away the need to smoke but i still want one really bad... any advice from people that have actually gone thru this before?

Answers:
It depends on how many cigarettes you smoke. If you smoke a pack, then try to reduce it by two every two weeks. Give your body time to adjust. As your body adjusts you will start losing the craving too. Identify when you smoke and why? Try to vary your routine or habits.
yea chewing gum..or an apple..if u want to smoke really bad,do something fun like playing on the xbox or stuff..control..you will not regret once you stop.. (:
