Do sugar alcohols affect one's blood alcohol level?

Question:
I chew a lot of gum and I was just wondering if there is any chance, no matter how small, of getting a breathalyzer reading.

Answers:
No, not at all.. sugar alcohols effect blood glucose levels (contrary to popular belief, but if you have ever tried to be on atkins and have sugar alcohols, you will see an immediate drop of your ketones) they have no effect whatesoever on blood alcohol levels.

Other Answers:
Two pieces of gum only, you could get a dui.
