how do i get info on heppititice simplex c,?

Question:
and how it is transmitted from one carier to another, other than blood!

Answers:
You are asking about Hepatitis C virus or HCV. This is transmitted through blood only meaning that you can get it from sharing a needle, getting a tatoo, blood transfusion or through unsafe sexual practices from someone that is infected with hepatitis C. It usually doesn't present with jaundice (yellow skin) until later on. What happens is that it infects your liver cells, or hepatocytes, and actually intergrated itself into your cell's DNA. Then, our own body's cytotoxic T8 cells destroy those cells - so actually, your own cells destroy your liver rather than the virus. Your doctor can do a hepatitis panel to see if you have it.

So let me emphesize that you do not get it through eating something like you could with hepatitis A and E. Also, hepatitis B is also trasmited through blood but it will likely show up with jaundice.

Other Answers:
go to webmd.com or try your local health dept.

Spell it correctly and do a web search. It's hepatitis. go to www.google.com and type in what your looking for and it will pop up a few sites. I use google for everything I need tofind out about from medical to babies, to pictures.

check with your local health department. My son had it just got done with treatment we will find out the final results soon. He got it from blood transfusion when he was 2 yrs old, he was diagnosed at 33. It can stay dormant for a very long time
