Oh, the pain, the agony!?

Question:
I'm not quite sure how this pain started, but my upper back and the right side of my neck are experiencing brutal pain. It's the type of ache where the muscles are tense, almost stiff. I've gotton several massages, and have taken warm to hot showers. I have normal sleeping habits, and have a healthy and well balanced diet. Is there any way in which I could make myself feel at least a bit better?
If this is any reason why this pain is here today, it's most likely the stress I've been through (studying, working all the time). I wish I can relax more, but I have so many things to do, and so little time to do them.
I'm in pain, and I'm miserable (as far as my back goes). Please, some home-made advice?

Answers:
Do some massages yourself at home with some of your favorite scented oils or just some lotion.

Try to find a hot tub to sit in for a 15 minute session a couple times a week. Or fill your own tub with hot water and slide down in the water so you're covered up to the point of your pain. Light some scented candles for some aromatherapy & hydrotherapy. Relax and let your mind go. It'll help the tense muscles in your neck and back.

Take some otc muscle relaxers or some aleve or tylenol.

Try this old fashioned remedy: 1 Tbs apple cider vinegar, 1 Tbs honey in a mug of hot water at bedtime. This will help you relax and it promotes sleep. If you can get some good sleep, perhaps your muscles will relax enough to refresh you.'
I would suggest to really take thrity minutes to an hour out of your day to just relax your mind. What I would do is invest in that nami chair that massages and cracks your back all at once. Your body is probably out of line. A good chiro session would do you good. Also I would try a muscle relaxer, that would probably help.
