Doctors crossing lines..what would YOU do if you were me??
Question:
Being in a country that doesn’t attribute too much importance to women’s rights, I know within my heart that there isn’t much I can do. Even if I try to seek justice, I might never get it. If I do, it shall come at TOO big a cost. The cost being- “spoiling my family’s name” in “society” and as a result being ostracized and excluded from the “good, respected” people. Furthermore, there’s the fear of being alienated within my own family. So what must I do?? Fo
Answers:
I wish I knew from which country you are, so I could help you find support with a local group or office that deals with stories like yours.
If possible, change to an other doctor and don't go back to this creep.
If you have to stay with this doctor and you wish to keep this out of the family, do you have a friend whom you can totally trust?
If you do have a friend whom you trust, I suggest that you bring that friend at your next visit to the doctor. Just to show him that you are NOT ALONE. Bringing your friend into the room with you, will be a clear signal to your doctor that you have informed this friend (and that you might inform other people as well).
And you can revenge him if you like, but only after you changed to a new doctor: make many photocopies with his full name and address and write that he is a doctor without sense of moral, who takes advantage of female patients (trust me, if he did this to you, he surely did or will do this to other girls).
Now spread these photocopies in public toilets like at schools, resaurants, cinemas, sportclubs, etc. These are places where no one can see you putting these photocopies up the wall........
still can report to higher authorities
