Nightmares... what does my recurring one mean?
Question:
It's not always the same exact events, but it's the same feelings.
It's getting to the point where i don't even want to sleep anymore. I don't want to have another one.
I don't usually get nightmares because I'm a lucid dreamer. So, this is becoming some wht of a problem to me.
I want to talk to someone. All the sites I've tried to research just give the same information on what nightmares are and who they effect. I'm really hoping someone out there can help, or knows someone who could.
Please help me! If you think you can, even if it's just maybe, e-mail me and I'll explain more in detail. I would be thrilled if someone tries to help, even if you can't.
Thank you

There are boards where people help to analyze your dreams. If you want to email me, I'll try to find them. I listed them somewhere around here. Also books in the bookstores can help. Just know you're not alone in this. Your subconscious is putting pictures in your mind to represent something so it usualyl doesn't make sense unless it's analyzed.
I have a similar experience. The nightmares aren't the main point, it's the terror I feel during them. Anyway, the doctor said I have post traumatic stress disorder. You might want to look in to it. I thought that PTSD meant I had to be reliving something or having flash backs, but it can also manifest as weird night terror / nightmares. My doctor gave me some pills that are supposed to help called Prazosin, but I'm not taking them so I don't know if they work.
