what's the difference and, if any, similarities between hyaluronic acid and collagen?

Question:

Answers:
Collagen and hyaluronic acid are structually different. Collagen is a protein and hyaluronic acid is a glycoprotein. They are both used extracellularly for support, but collagen is much thicker and tougher (used in tendons and ligaments), and hyaluronic acid is often used as a coushion because it is saturated in a lot of water.
