nursing college vs. hospital?

Question: Is it better in the long run to go to a 2 year community college (cheaper and has a good reputation- Bergen Community College in NJ) or to a hospital and go through their program? I don't know anyone in the profession so anyone with experience, please help out. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

i would go to a vocational college that special in training of nurses or medical assistant. i think that it would be more effective because you get to learn some basic understanding and you could use that education to branch out. but if you go to a hospital i believe that they'll just teach you one subject and expect you to stay thre for a long period of time.
