I am so glad you took her to the hospital. I don't think the answers to the previous question were preaching about how suicide is bad and if taken that way I don't think it was intended. You did the right thing. 18 mg is a lot. Whether it could kill her depends on thinks we don't know: What other medications was she taking at the time (including herbs, alcohol, illicit drugs or over the counter medications), how quickly she took it (all at once or over time and if so how long a time), her metabolism, her health (does she have liver or kidney problems, other problems) as this could affect absorption and ability to clear the drug from her body, how much fluid and food she'd had and how recently. It might do damage or harm depending on all these factors and more. It seems unlikely but it could have.
the other thing: when people are impaired from medications they can do stupid things that could harm or kill them too...klonapin is definately one of those that can lead to that as it takes away inhibitions for things one usually wouldn't do.

depends on the size of the person but unless abnormally small or small child then they only exceeded the recommended dosage and will be fine and if was lethal dosage you should make them vomit before pills can be digested which is around 30 min.
