never leave smoking abruptly......if you smoke 10 cigarettes daily... here onwards smoke 5 for the next 5 day.. and gradually decrease... by the time when you reach one......make your mind not to smoke hereafter... practice yoga.. if u know....

Other Answers:
I got up one morning twentyone years ago and told the wife" I can't afford to smoke anymore" and I have not had one since. I used to smoke twenty cigars a day and I inhaled the smoke.
Well.....I used to smoke sometime back.....20 cigrettes/day, large size. And I quit it in one go.......like I decided its my last cig and then I throw the packet. Then I think, why it should be last cigrette, why cant I just throw it. And I did exactly that. No smoke after that. I am smoke free for last 3 years.
I've smoked for more than 30 years. Quit 2 years ago for 5 months. It was my only real attempt but I'm now trying to get a good mind set for a second attempt. GOOD LUCK!
I have quit 10 times. I have tried everything under the sun. The longest I have quit is 9 months. When ever I think I'm having a little emotional crisis I start again. I guess eventually I really will quit. I think the nicotine gum works the best. And when you use a nicotine aid you can't smoke, because there is a risk of having a heart attack. BEST OF LUCK! Do better than I have.
I don't smoke "cigarettes", but a friend of mine does. He's been trying to quit. And he keeps on going back to it. But know he's just cutting back like once a day, or just on the weekends, u should try it might help.
