Cremation ashes in tattoo?

I got an idea to put some of my father’s ashes into the ink of my tribute tattoo that I want to get. My question is: Would it be possible to transmit any of my father’s diseases from his ashes?

Answers:
Diseases will all have been killed by the heat. However, ashes in an open wound can cause the tisue to die or could cause a serious infection, which could hurt you and scar the daylights out of the tattoo, thus disfiguring it. It is a thoughtful idea, but I don't think it is that safe an idea.

While I am touched by your desire to carry your dear father with you even after he is no more I find the idea revolting.Let his ashes meet and mingle with the elements from which he came up. He owes it to them. However, you need not have any fear of any of your late father's maladies being bequeathed to you( He has already bequeathed all his positive gains to you. Evne his ashes would never think of transferring any of his negatives to you) In any case the fire which purifies everything must have rendered the ashes of your dear father equally pristinely pure.

Cool idea, but since it isn't exactly a topic that people have done a lot of research on, there is no way to say definitively that it is safe. If you want to do something to honor your Dad that you can carry around with you, why don't you have his ashes made into an industrial diamond, place the ashes into a locket, or otherwise press it into something that you can wear.
