After a fractured ankle has recovered, it will lead to other pains?

Question:
I fractured my ankle at mid-February. But I am recovered now, just can't be 100% like last time. Since then, I have pains on my legs... like my knees. So, is it because of my fractured ankle that led to this other weird pains?

Answers:
I assume you had a cast on your leg for a while. If so, you probably walked with a limp for a while, which in turn will alter the mechanics of the knee and hip, causing further problems. This problem is not usually addressed by traditional medical doctors. I suggest finding a chiropractor that speciallizes in the mechanics or motion, like a sports rehab speciallist. If you don't know of a chiropractor, go to www.sorsi.com to find a doctor near you. The doctors on this website have great knowledge of mechanics of the body. If you are in Minnesota near Minneapolis/St. Paul, email me.
You weren't very specific about where your ankle was fractured but it could be responsible for the pains you are experiencing - is it muscular or pain in the joint. If muscular I would suggest that you need to gently exercise it unless the pain is too severe, if it is then it may be worth getting an x - ray of your knee to rule out any injury there
