Any tinnitus sufferers?

Question:
Wondering how others cope with tinnitus.. any folk medicine or such.. All will help

Answers:
In my opinion, after you've learned the basics about tinnitus, the best way to deal with it is to stop thinking about it. The only way to stop thinking about it is to remove it as a focus for your time and energy.

Stop reading groups and message boards. Stop searching the internet for a "cure". Stop reading articles about experimental treatments. Stop telling people about what it's like to have it.
Stop trying to decide if it's worse today than yesterday.

It won't happen overnight, but one day you'll wake up and realize:
"Wow, my tinnitus hasn't really been bugging me as much as it used to."

This is just something that has worked for me and helped me cope over the last fifteen or so years.

Other Answers:
I think it is part of my low blood sugar/diabetes condition. It seems to be louder when I am low or high on my blood sugar.

That might be because when I am imbalanced, I don't feel good, so am not doing things that distract me from listening.

Is it in both your ears, or just the left ear, like mine?
